4. Russell Wilson is nowhere near elite
While it can still be argued that Wilson is a top-10 quarterback in the NFL, he still has work to do to cement himself as an elite quarterback.
Many fans were ready to label him as elite if the Seahawks repeated as Super Bowl champions. While Wilson had an overall solid game with 247 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, his interception came at the worst time possible.
This contrasted his clutch ability, which he has shown in his three-year career while beating the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
However, he was unable to come through for his team when needed as the defense did not perform up to its usual standard. While “game manager” may be unfair to call Wilson, he’ll need to recover from this blunder to silence his critics again.
