1. The New England Patriots are not finished just yet
After they were on the receiving end of a 41-14 blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, the Patriots were considered a team on the decline. Reports also surfaced that quarterback Tom Brady was angry with the direction of his team and that he may be on his way out soon. The Patriots hushed their critics though, as they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 43-17. They gave the Bengals their first loss of the season, and Brady returned to form by throwing for 292 yards and two touchdown passes.
The Patriots are still perfectly capable of contending for a Super Bowl, and they proved that Sunday night. The Bengals have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and the Patriots were still able to score 36 offensive points on them. Their defense has also shined throughout the season aside from the Chiefs game. They rank fourth in total defense and 10th in scoring defense.
