Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has reportedly told the club to ensure that they secure the signing of Borussia Dortmund centre back Mats Hummels as soon as possible, with the German possibly the best centre back in Europe, at least that is available, and he could well be the club’s marquee January signing as the big Old Trafford rebuild continues.
