One of David Moyes’ biggest mistakes whilst in charge was to not use the Mexican hit man to full effect. Hernandez may not get in the side regularly ahead of Robin Van Persie or Wayne Rooney, but Moyes ignored him to his detriment. Having proved that he is excellent value for a goal whether he starts or comes from the bench, he should be used on a more regular basis when the club are up against the wall. Furthermore, if Van Gaal brings in more creative talent behind him, his presence in the opposition penalty area will increase ten fold.
