1) Arsenal have options in attack
Despite constant rumours that Arsenal are still looking to strengthen upfront, there are plenty of positives to take from the displays of both Joel Campbell and Yaya Sanogo in the 5-1 thrashing of Benfica on Saturday.
Both youngsters were excellent in their all-round play, and of course they got the goals that ultimately matter, with Sanogo netting four and Campbell the other – a superbly-taken volley. These versatile and skillful attackers will only improve with regular playing time, and although they are not necessarily ready to be first choice, they will more than do as backup players to the likes of Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott, providing a bit more competition for places in the front three.
