5. Sergio Romero is a capable stand-in for De Gea
Van Gaal raised some eyebrows with his decision to leave the Spaniard out the squad, and he has suggested that he will stay in the stands until he is focused or seals a move to Real Madrid.
While Romero is nowhere near on the same level as De Gea, he can be a decent option for Van Gaal if his first choice shot-stopper decides to move on.
