2. English strikers are on fire
Though it’s likely that this season’s Premier League top scorer will likely originate from South America (Aguero/Costa/Sanchez) there hasn’t been such a dearth of English goalscoring talent in a long time. After just ten games the likes of Raheem Sterling, Nathan Dyer, Frazier Campbell, Charlie Austin and Saido Berahino have scored a combined total of 22 goals between them. The real kicker is that only one of those players is currently in Roy Hodgson’s national side. So much for picking the form players, huh?
