1. Brandin Cooks, Saints
Cooks was drafted in the first round by the Saints after they traded up to select him, so it can be assumed he will be involved in the Saints’ high-octane offense. He demonstrated outstanding speed at Oregon State and finished with 128 receptions, 1,730 yards and 16 touchdowns. At the very least, Cooks will be a safety valve for Drew Brees like Darren Sproles, who was traded to Philadelphia. Cooks is not expected to start right away, but it would be no surprise if he steals targets from Marques Colston and Kenny Stills. Cooks will be a threat to score any time he touches the ball.
