1) Mario Balotelli (AC Milan and Italy)
Another big-name striker target being linked with Chelsea and a host of other top clubs is AC Milan and Italy star Mario Balotelli, formerly of Manchester City. The 23-year-old has been in fine goalscoring form since leaving England for the San Siro last January, but his disciplinary problems and attitude remain an issue and it has been suggested that this will lead to Milan accepting reasonable offers for him in this summer’s transfer window. One of the most talented attacking players in the world on his day, Balotelli had a terrific tournament for Italy at Euro 2012 and will be hoping to do so again in Brazil as he looks to impress potential bidders for him ahead of next season. The player has previously worked under Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho during their time together at Inter Milan, and the Portuguese coach could be the best candidate to get the troubled forward back to his best at Stamford Bridge, though Arsenal and Monaco are also tracking his signature this summer.
