One young defender who has been out on loan is Omeruo. The youngster was sent out to Den Haag where he established himself as a nailed on first team regular, and last term he spent the majority of the campaign with Middlesbrough in the Championship. However, following his outstanding form for Nigeria at the World Cup the time could be right for him to carry more responsibility at the club. Tall, rangy but strong, he is a level-headed and determined youngster with a big future in the game.
