Strootman is only just returning from a long term injury, but is still being hotly pursued by Manchester United. Louis Van Gaal likes Strootman, and used him as a key player while managing the Netherlands. Strootman has been offered a huge new deal at Roma but seems to be holding off on signing it, hoping for the Red Devils to make their move.
