Sam Newman says he does not need to apologise for flashing his genitals on live national television, claiming he did not mean it and it was not offensive.
Newman exposed himself last night on ‘The Footy Show’ during a segment about the meningitis outbreak at Port Adelaide.
Images and videos of Newman quickly spread across social media.
Appearing on Triple M radio today, the 69-year-old said he had nothing to apologise for.
“I’m not apologising,” he told Triple M.
“I’m don’t know why you would bother apologising.
“I think possibly, inadvertently, people around the globe have seen appendages of various sizes and shapes, I don’t think it’s that offensive but that’s only from my stance.”
