Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has publicly squashed rumors that he is poised for a return to Arsenal, stating that he’s happy where he is.
According to the Daily Mail, Nasri posted two Twitter messages in which he indicated that any rumors about his return to Arsenal were false and that he’s happy with Man City. In his first message Nasri actually said “Never ask anyone for a comeback so stop with those silly rumors [sic],” but he later deleted that message and replaced it with this one.

The 28-year-old French attacker played several impressive seasons with Arsenal after the team bought him from Marseille for approximately £12 million, scoring 18 league goals in his first three years including a career-high 10-goal campaign in 2010-11. But he was sold to Man City in August 2011 for an estimated £25 million and a signed a four-year contract. Last year he signed a new five-year deal with City to stay with the club through 2019.
