The 31-year-old is out of contract next summer, but it has been well documented that he is close to securing a move to Turkey in the coming days.
Fener have reportedly held talks with United officials in London, according to the Mirror, as they look to sign their second player from Old Trafford this week after Nani arrived in Istanbul on Monday.
United are believed to want around £12m for the Dutchman, but the Turkish giants are not interested in such a high price and are hopeful of negotiating a lower fee.
Van Persie joined from Arsenal for £24m in 2012, and immediately ended his wait for a Premier League title under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson.
However, things didn’t work out so well for the Dutch international last season, and a move to Turkey could give him the playing time and chance to regain his form that he needs ahead of Euro 2016 next summer.
