According to Sky Sports, Van Persie is having the first part of his medical in England, and he will then complete the formalities over the weekend.
Further, the Dutchman is then expected to be formally introduced as a Fener player on Monday, marking the end of his stint in the Premier League.
Van Persie is reportedly set to sign a four-year deal with the Turkish giants, and it will be an important move for him as he considers Euro 2016.
The Dutch international endured a disappointing season at Old Trafford last year, with injuries and lack of form resulting in the decision to move on with boss Louis Van Gaal willing to lose him in order to look elsewhere.
With former United winger Nani also moving to Turkey earlier this week, it marks an important week for the club as they look to compete with their bitter city rivals for a league title next season.
