Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who was the captain of former club Arsenal for three seasons, has said that he cannot wait to secure his first ever Premier League title.
Fabregas was on Arsenal’s books for eight years, but he only won on FA Cup and one FA Community Shield with the Gunners.
He has been at Chelsea for less than 12 months, hut he has already lifted the League Cup and he will almost certainly get his hands on the Premier League trophy, unless the Blues somehow conspire to throw away a 10-point lead.
The title is pretty much guaranteed to end up and Stamford Bridge, but Fabregas is desperate to secure Chelsea’s status as English champions as soon as possible.

Fabregas is quoted by Chelsea’s official website as saying: “We just want to win it. The sooner, the better.
“We want to give satisfaction to the supporters. It’s been five years for them without winning the Premier League title; for me it’s been 27 years so I’d love to win it as soon as possible.”
Chelsea can wrap up the title by winning their next two games, which are against Arsenal and Leicester City.
