Barcelona star has no plans to return to the Premier League.
Former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song has insisted he will not return to England despite a disappointing first season at Barcelona.
The Cameroonian has only started 19 games for the Catalans since arriving for Arsenal in a £15m deal last summer, and has managed just one goal from a central midfield role.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a surprise return to the Premier League this summer, with both Arsenal and their north London rivals Tottenham thought to be considering shock moves for the enforcer.
But Song has stressed he is happy at the Nou Camp and has no plans to depart before the start of next season.
“It is hard because no [speculation] comes from me. I know I am very happy here, my family is happy here, for sure I will be here next season,” the Cameroon international is quoted as saying by the London Evening Standard.
Song spent seven seasons in north London after joining, initially on loan, from French outfit Bastia in 2005.
