Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has signed a two-year deal with Bundesliga side Vfl Wolfsburg, report the Mail, having turned down the advances of Premier League sides Hull City and Crystal Palace, both of whom had registered an interest in the Denmark international.
Bendtner was released by the Gunners at the end of the season having failed to live up to his early promised, although he did make a handful of appearances last season despite his Arsenal career seemingly having been over when he was farmed out to Juventus on loan.
The Dane had already rejected Eintracht Frankfurt this summer before agreeing a deal with Vfl Wolfsburg, an ambitious Bundesliga outfit with genuine ambitions of breaking into the top four next season and securing Champions League football.
