Robin van Persie is believed to be planning crunch talks with Louis van Gaal over his Manchester Unite future when he returns to England next week.
The Dutchman has been linked with Valencia and Fenerbahce this summer and is believed to have verbally agreed personal terms with the Turkish outfit.
But the 31-year-old wants to know whether he stands at Old Trafford before making a final decision and will meet with Van Gaal to discuss his role for next season, according to the Daily Express.

Captain Wayne Rooney, who spent parts of last term playing in central midfield, is being lined up as United’s lone striker and Van Gaal wants either Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani or Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain to provide competition.
That would leave Van Persie, who has one year left on his United contract, as third-choice forward, and the former Arsenal star has made it clear that he needs regular football at this stage of his career.
Van Persie has scored 58 goals in 104 games for the Red Devils since his £24m arrival from Arsenal in 2012
