Napoli manager Rafael Benitez is supposedly interested in the possibility of returning as manager of Liverpool to replace Brendan Rodgers, according to Spanish source Fichajes.net.

The Spaniard, who also had a short spell at Chelsea in the 2012/13 season, is ready to reject the offer of a new contract at his current club and return for a second spell at Anfield.
Liverpool’s current boss Rodgers is under increasing scrutiny after some highly disappointing results this season, and the return of Benitez could be a popular one with the club’s fans.
The 54-year-old won the Champions League in his first spell at Anfield, as well as the FA Cup in 2006 before he left for Inter Milan in 2010.
