Former Man United defender Gerard Pique has told current Barcelona teammate Pedro not to quit the Camp Nou for a switch to Manchester.
The Spanish winger has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with the likes of United, Arsenal and Chelsea all reportedly monitoring his situation.

Despite the fact that he continues to fall down the pecking order following the arrivals of Luis Suarez and more recently Arda Turan, Pique believes that Pedro still has a key role to play for the Catalan giants.
“Pedro’s situation is difficult because he’s competing with the best three in the world,” he said, as reported by Sky Sports.
“But if he’d leave that would weaken us.”
It is unclear if the 27-year-old will leave this summer, but given United boss Louis Van Gaal’s latest comments about needing speed and creativity in the final third, he could well be specifically targeting Pedro.
With Turan unable to play for Barca until January, coach Luis Enrique may well need Pedro to start the season. However, it is also unlikely that the club will hold him back if he feels as though he needs a new challenge.
