Former Parramatta, Canterbury and Cronulla centre Jonathan Wright has signed a one-year deal with the New Zealand Warriors.
The 27-year-old joins his fourth NRL club in six years, leaving the embattled Sharks after playing 41 games with the club.
Wright is the Warriors’ fourth signing of the off-season after Melbourne second-rower Ryan Hoffman, Wests Tigers back rower Bodene Thompson and Raiders centre-winger Matt Allwood all signed on the the Kiwi club.
“Jonathan provides both experience and versatility for us in the outside backs,” said Warriors coach Andrew McFadden.
“He’s an established and really reliable player who has also played a lot of finals football as well as a grand final.”
