The Houston Texans have signed former New England Patriots Pro Bowl DT Vince Wilfork to a two-year deal.
NFL.com insider Ian Rapoport reported on the deal that will reunite ___ him with Bill O’Brien, who coached with the New England Patriots for several years before joining the Penn State Nittany Lions and later accepting the head coaching job with the Houston Texans.
It’s a 2-year deal for the #Texans and new DT Vince Wilfork.

A five-time Pro Bowl selection and four-time All-Pro, Wilfork was one of the most dominant run-stopping NT/DTs in the NFL for the better part of the last 10 years. He went to four Super Bowls with the Patriots, winning two – 2004 and 2014 – and missed just 18 games in his 11 year career with the Patriots.
Wilfork also posted his thanks to the Patriots organization for drafting him in 2004 and for being a part of one of the most successful franchises in NFL history.
