Former Tottenham star could be set for surprise returnmer.
Former Tottenham midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng could be set for a shock return to White Hart Lane this summer, reports talkSPORT.
The midfielder is currently with Serie A giants AC Milan but the Rossoneri are reportedly willing to part company with Boateng at the end of the season.
Manchester City are also tracking the 26-year-old but Spurs are said to be in pole position to land ‘the Prince’, who is valued at around the £12.5m mark.
Boateng managed just seven league starts for Spurs during an ill-fated stint in north London between 2007 and 2009 and eventually joined Portsmouth after an initial loan spell.
But the German-born Ghana international shone in his first two seasons at at the San Siro after arriving in Italy in 2010, becoming a fans favourite with a series of fine goals.
Despite earning widespread praise for his strong anti-racism stance, Boateng has enjoyed a less successful season this term, finding the net just twice in 28 Serie A appearances for Massimo Allegri’s side.
