Fremantle midfielder Nat Fyfe has been ruled out of Saturday’s International Rules Test against Ireland with a shoulder injury.
The Dockers star injured his right shoulder during a practice match against a team from the New South Wales Gaelic Athletic Association on Tuesday.
“I’ve loved the experience over the last few days and meeting players from across the competition, and its incredibly disappointing to miss out,” Fyfe is quoted as saying by AFL.com.au
“I dived for a mark and simply landed the wrong way and it didn’t feel right.”
The Australian arrives in Perth today for Saturday’s clash at Subiaco Oval.
