Fremantle’s star man of the season Nat Fyfe has been offered a two week ban by the AFL match review panel for an off-the-ball hit on Hawthorn’s Jordan Lewis.
Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe has been cited by the AFL’s Match Review Panel for an incident during the Dockers’ win over Hawthorn at Patersons Stadium yesterday.
The 22-year-old has been offered a two week suspension for his off-the-ball hit on Hawthorn’s Jordan Lewis during the first quarter.
If Fyfe accepts the ban, it will be his second rough conduct charge of the season.
The midfielder received a controversial two-week ban for a bump on Gold Coast’s Michael Rischitelli that caused an accidental head clash back in round two.
If Fremantle contest the charge, they risk losing its key man for at least the opening game of its finals campaign.
In other MRP news, North Melbourne’s Daniel Wells can take a one-match ban for two separate incidences with the Western Bulldogs’ Shaun Higgins, while his teammate Brent Harvey has been referred directly to the tribunal for misconduct on Bulldogs tagger Liam Picken.
Harvey is not able to accept an early plea
