With a number of injuries to key players already sustained, this will come as a bitter blow to the Gunners. Wilshere has been vitally important for Arsenal this season with the likes of Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey, and Mesut Ozil all suffering injuries at different times in the season.
Arsenal should still be well capable of seeing off relegation zone residents Burnley without the 22-year-old, but he will still be sorely missed.
