There may not be a more competitive player on the Arsenal XI than Alexis Sanchez.
Whether it was the pain of a devastating loss or the competitive fire burning in his gut at all times, Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez wouldn’t let defeat keep him off the pitch.
Following Arsenal’s embarrassing 0-2 loss at home to West Ham United, Sanchez immediately took to the pitch at Emirates Stadium to run sprints.

Sanchez made an early return from a rest period following his tournament-winning performance in the 2015 Copa America this summer. Arsenal’s leading scorer from last season returned to the team a full two weeks earlier than expected – not that it did the club much good on Sunday.
A £35 million transfer out of Barcelona in 2014, Alexis Sanchez scored 16 league goals and 25 total goals as Arsenal finished third on the Premier League table and won the FA Cup tournament in 2015. He scored the game-winning penalty kick against Argentina in a shootout to give Chile their first ever Copa America victory.
