Youngster to swap the Emirates Stadium for Craven Cottage.
Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is in line for a free transfer to Fulham this summer.
The 21-year-old, who came through the ranks in north London, is currently on loan at Craven Cottage but does not feature in Arsene Wenger’s long-term plans at Arsenal.
The Ghanian has been with the Gunners since he was nine years old but despite the club’s current lack of a recognised defensive midfielder, he will be allowed to leave on free transfer at the end of the season, with Fulham in pole position.
Fulham boss Martin Jol confirmed his interest in landing the youngster.
“If there is an opportunity to take him, I would probably do it,” the Dutchman is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
Frimpong spent the first half of the season on loan at Charlton and has made just one start for the Cottagers since moving to west London on loan in January.
The combative midfielder has only made six Premier League appearances for Arsenal and saw a loan at Wolves cut short last term after a serious knee injury.
