Cottagers feel they can persuade the Dutchman to move back to the Premier League next season.
Fulham have emerged as surprise candidates to sign Fenerbahce front man Dirk Kuyt this summer, according to reports in the Star on Sunday.
The experienced Netherlands international has only been with the Istanbul giants for just the past season now, having originally signed for the club from Liverpool for just 1 million euros on a three-year deal in June 2012.
And in his debut campaign in Turkey, the 32-year-old enjoyed a fine season in front of goal for his new club, finding the back of the net on 17 occasions in total in all competitions in his 56 matches, including eight strikes in 31 league outings.
However, Fulham head coach Martin Jol believes that he can now persuade his fellow countryman to swap Istanbul for London when the summer transfer window finally swings open into action once again on July 1 after it was recently confirmed that Fenerbahce had been banned by Uefa from next season’s Champions League.
