Cottagers are keen to give the youngster valuable first-team experience in the capital.
Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is set to join fellow Premier League outfit Fulham on loan for next season, says the Daily Mirror.
The promising England Under-21 international enjoyed his breakthrough year at Anfield under new Liverpool head coach Brendan Rodgers in the previous campaign, with the 20-year-old being handed a number of first-team opportunities to impress at the back under the Northern Irishman.
In total Wisdom, who can operate at either right back or as a centre back, featured in 19 appearances for the Merseyside giants, 12 of which came in the Premier League, and the youngster even managed to score his first-ever goal for the Reds in the process.
As a result, Fulham manager Martin Jol is hoping to be able to persuade his Liverpool counterpart to loan him Wisdom for the entire 2013-14 campaign so that the defender can gain some valuable first-team experience at Craven Cottage.
And with the Reds set to be bringing in a number of new players in Wisdom’s position this close season, it appears more than likely that Rodgers will agree to the proposition.
