The Argentine is in superb form at the moment, and has long been linked as a top target for the Spanish giants after shining in La Liga with Atletico Madrid earlier in his career.
It may now be that the 26-year-old will make his way to the Bernabeu, with Real identifying him as a possible replacement for Bale, who has been strongly linked with Manchester United and Chelsea this season.
Aguero would also provide competition for Karim Benzema upfront, and certainly fits the bill as a ‘Galactico’-style signing by the European champions.
