Reds No 1 also backs Suarez to remain at Anfield.
Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Manuel Reina has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale should leave north London to join Spanish giants Real Madrid, says the Daily Mirror.
The Spain international also refuted recent speculation linking Reds striker Luis Suarez with a summer move away from Anfield.
“If Real Madrid signs Bale I’ll be delighted. He causes me a lot of problems,” Reina told Radio Marca.
“I can’t see Luis Suarez playing in La Liga. I think he’ll stay at Liverpool. He’s a great player.”
And, Reina backed Madrid to overcome Manchester United in their Champions League encounter, saying: “I want Real to win the Champions League tie against United. It’s a Spanish team and I’ve got lots of friends there.”
Meanwhile, the keeper poured cold water on suggestions that he would leave Anfield this summer to join either Barcelona or Madrid: “I’m sure Víctor Valdes will have his reasons for deciding to leave Barcelona. I respect him. He’s my teammate and friend. He’ll be leaving with his head held high, as he’s given his all to Barcelona. Any talk of me joining Barça is just speculation. I’ve got a contract at Liverpool and I’m very happy here.
“I don’t know what happens at Real Madrid. Mourinho is the one who has to make the decisions. Anyway, Casillas was only left out for two games.”
