Andy Murray is the first British man to win Wimbledon since Fred Perry 77 years ago, after the Scot beat Novak Djokovic in straight sets to claim the title.
On a scorching Centre Court, the 26-year-old won 6-4 7-5 6-4 in three hours and ten minutes.
“That was one of the toughest moments, today was unbelievably tough match. I don’t know how I came through the final three points, I’m so glad to do it,” said the 26-year-old afterwards.
