Portuguese winger is United’s FA Cup match-winner, after half a season in the wilderness.
Portuguese winger Nani came in from the cold to steer United to a 2-1 victory over Reading in the FA Cup fifth-round.
The former Sporting Lisbon star has only made nine starts for United in all competitions so far this term but he scored his beauty and set-up Javier Hernandez for a second, as the Red Devils eventually overcame a spirited Royals side at Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old replaced the injured Phil Jones on 42 minutes, but it was arguably another sub – Robin van Persie – who truly changed the momentum of the match when he emerged from the bench with just under half an hour remaining.
Goals aside, the Dutchman was also responsible for the moment of the match, after this sublime back-heel pass to Danny Welbeck.
