Former Everton star scores stunner as New York Red Bulls close in on title.
Former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill scored the fastest goal in MLS history after just seven seconds, as New York Red Bulls beat Houston Dynamo 3-0 on Sunday.
The Australian netted this stunning long range effort to beat the previous record of 11 seconds, held by Dwayne de Rosario.
“It was a special goal and something I won’t forget,” said Cahill.
