5. James Morrison – 32
An ever-present for West Brom, Morrison continues to miss out on the praise that he would arguably get if he was producing for a bigger club.
4. Aaron Ramsey – 38
Arguably one of the most improved players in recent years, the Welshman has become an integral part of Arsenal’s success. 18 goals or assists in 2013/14, with 10 more last season.
3. Frank Lampard – 43
The Premier League lost one of, if not the best, midfielders of his generation this summer, with Chelsea and Man City benefiting from a great contribution over the course of his successful career.
2. Jordan Henderson – 43
Perhaps a surprise to many for being so high, Henderson now has the Liverpool captain’s armband to think about and he will hope it doesn’t effect his performances negatively.
1. Yaya Toure – 64
Toure endured a difficult year last season, as there was a dramatic drop from 2013/14 from 23 to seven. Can he return to being the dominant force that he was previously?
