Gold Coast Suns forward linked with move to NRL
The struggling Gold Coast Suns play host to Collingwood at Metricon Stadium on Saturday.
Gold Coast produced one of its best wins in its short history against the Magpies last year, but it would require a huge effort from Rodney Eade’s side to produce a similar result this time around.
The Suns lost star player Gary Ablett to a shoulder injury midway through the match but somehow managed to cling on to a five-point win.
They’ll be without Ablett again and are decimated by injuries and will be low on confidence following their 92-point loss at the hands of West Coast in round seven.
Collingwood got off to a promising start in 2015, but are coming into this one off back-to-back losses against Geelong and Richmond.
Nonetheless, if Nathan Buckley’s side are serious about playing finals football in 2015, this is a must win match.
Make sure you tune in!
