In a close match the Titans got the upper hand in the second half and two tries to James Roberts confirmed their win.
The Bulldogs were valiant but eventually beaten by a strong Gold Coast side.
Curtis Rona continued his great form in 2015 with the first try.
But the game was tied up quickly when Roberts scored his first.
Sam Kasiano muscled over to put the Dogs back in front.
A delightful try right on half-time from Kevin Gordon tied the scores at 10-10 at the break.
In the second half the Titans stepped up a gear.
A brilliant tackle from Moses Mbye stopped them going further in front.
But when Josh Hoffman scored the Titans looked home.
Ryan James had this try chalked off for a double movement.
But Rona made the home team nervous when he cut their lead to just six points.
Gold Coast’s victory was finally sealed when Roberts raced over for his second four-pointer of the evening.
