The game was close throughout with the Titans edged in front at half-time 10-6. But the match changed in the final period when Isaah Yeo was sin-binned.
With a man down, the Panthers couldn’t stop the Titans piling on two tries in quick succession.
Penrith started strongly and got the first try.
The Titans responded soon after through William Zillman.
After setting up that try, Kane Elgey then put Josh Hoffman over.
In the second half the game turned when Yeo was sin-binned for holding down in the tackle. Gold Coast kicked the ensuing penalty and went 12-6 ahead.
They soon added another penalty and Hoffman got his double.
There was still time for Zillman to get a double of his own. Penrith had been punished and the Gold Coast had their third win in a row.
