With the NRL’s round 13 deadline approaching, it was reported Sezer may renege on his deal with the Raiders to remain at the Queensland club.
However, the 23-year-old says he has no intentions of reversing his decision and will head to Canberra when his contract with the Titans expires at the end of the 2015 season.
“I made my decision, so it’s time to move on,” Sezer is quoted as saying by AAP.
“The decision has been done and I’m not going to go into why I made it.
“It’s exciting (to be joining Canberra) but that’s next year. I’ve got a game (on Friday) night.”
Cherry-Evans made the decision to backflip on his deal with the Titans, announcing on Wednesday he would remain at the Sea Eagles after the northern beaches club offered him a “lifelong deal”.
“When all is said and done I’ve gone through a lot of personal pain with this,” Cherry-Evans is quoted as saying by the ABC.
“But I know it is all beneficial for me and my family with the long-term outcome.”
