The Titans are hoping it gives them a boost on the field, while the damage off the field rolls on. Gold Coast has lost both of its opening fixtures while the Knights have won both of theirs.
Neil Henry has also switched William Zillman into the centres and Josh Hoffman to fullback, to give his side some more attacking thrust.
Few would have predicted Newcastle to be unbeaten after two rounds. Jarrad Mullen has been in exceptional form and so has their centres, Dane Gagai and BJ Leilua.
Rick Stone is working wonders in the Hunter and the Knights will certainly favourites to notch their third win of the campaign.
