Titans continue to climb the NRL ladder with another tough victory.
The Gold Coast Titans joined Manly and Canterbury at the top of the NRL ladder with a 22-6 win over Wests Tigers at Leichardt Oval on Sunday afternoon.
Five-eighth Aidan Sezer opened the scoring for the visitors when he crossed in the seventh minute before winger Anthony Don scored after a charge-down with five minutes left in the first half.
Both tries were converted and, with two penalty goals on the board, the Titans took a 16-0 lead into half-time.
The Tigers’ first try came in the 45th minute via Tim Simona but it was to be their only bright spot, as Greg Bird touched down eight minutes later and the Titans maintained their 22-6 lead to full-time.
The Titans have a +16 points differential and sit third behind the Bulldogs and Sea Eagles, with all three on 12 competition points.
