Marquinhos – PSG
By far the most expensive player nominated for the Golden Boy, Marquinhos cost PSG €32m this summer, despite having played just one season in Europe for Roma. The talented centre-half is still learning but with compatriot Thiago Silva for guidance, it seems likely the youngster will fulfil his potential and become one of the best defenders in world football.
