Blind picked up the problem whilst on international duty with Netherlands in November and the initial prognosis suggested the 24-year-old would be out for a number of months.
However, whilst the Dutchman is still some way from returning to first team action, there is good news from Danny Blind in the assessment of his son.
“On Tuesday he had a scan. Everything looked fine on the scan. Daley can really begin rehabilitation now but is still on schedule,” the Oranje coach was quoted by CaughtOffside.
