In one of the more unusual pieces of investigation, the Guardian has put together a few graphics showing which boxing class Premier League footballers fall into.

Football fans love their players in many shapes and sizes, from the diminutive Gianfranco Zola, to the monstrous Papa Bouba Diop, but certain sizes work better in certain positions.
Thus comes the definitive answer to the question that’s (probably) been on every fans lips since the dawn of the Premier League; just which boxing class would every top flight player fit into?
Of all the 564 players that have their weight listed on the Premier League website the most popular class in Cruiserweight with 154 names.
Most of those names are goalkeepers, but there is only one player that could compete in the Super Featherweight division, though, and that is Manchester United starlet Jesse Lingard. We cannot wait to see him take on Manny Paquiao!
It’s unsurprising that the cruiserweight division is the one with the largest number of players – it does have the biggest gap between its weight limit (90.7kg) and that of the one below (light heavyweight). To give you an idea of who would fit in that class, Evander Holyfield and Britain’s David Haye have both been cruiserweight champions in the past.
