Sam Shields doubtful – Packers cornerback doubtful for Sunday night
The Green Bay Packers fell back down to Earth on Sunday night as they had their four-game winning streak snapped by the New Orleans Saints, and they endured injuries to key players such as quarterback Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers played the second half with an injured hamstring, and right guard T.J. Lang was taken out of the game early with an ankle injury. Luckily for the Packers, Lang will not need surgery.
The Packers also have a conveniently timed bye week approaching, but Lang is not sure whether he will return for their next game.
Here is a tweet from Packers beat writer Rob Demovsky giving an update on the guard’s ankle.
