Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Clay Matthews suffered a groin injury in the team’s loss to the Detroit Lions, and the team didn’t initially know how serious this would be.
However, it appears that the Packers have caught a break. Matthews has been practicing with the team all week, and he is reportedly looking good in limited practice.
The linebacker plans to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears, and the Packers defense will need him against a Bears offense that features wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.
