The French international, who has 25 goals in all competitions from out wide this season, looks one of the best attacking players in Europe at the moment and could be a great buy for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Chelsea brought in Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina in January, but the Colombian international has barely featured and failed to impress when used at Stamford Bridge.
Griezmann certainly looks an upgrade, and the Daily Telegraph report that he is keen to hold talks over a move to Chelsea after learning of their interest in his services.
Chelsea also raided Atletico last summer, bringing in the likes of Diego Costa and Filipe Luis as well as recalling Thibaut Courtois from a three-year loan spell in the Spanish capital.
It is thought they are also looking at signing Koke and Diego Godin this year.
