Chelsea and Manchester United have been encouraged in their pursuit of Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos, following comments made by his manager Pep Guardiola, reports the Express.
After hearing of the Premier League giants’ interest in his 24-year-old German star, Guardiola didn’t rule out a potential summer move.
“He is an important player but things can move fast in football,” said the legendary Spanish manager…
“Here today, gone tomorrow.”
Fans of the two Premier League giants will be even more encouraged in their pursuit of the superstar, after Kroos’ petulant reaction to being substituted last night…
Bayern beat Stuttgart 2-1 eventually, but Kroos had already thrown his toys out of the pram:
United have already signed Juan Mata this January, but David Moyes has promised that he plans to carry on investing in the squad, and Kroos would be just the type of world-class addition fans are crying out for.
Mourinho on the other hand has said that his spending is over, but respected German football journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft claims the Blues are very much interested.
